Bruno Loeb a.k.a Dionysios Moussafiris		A follower of PHYLO of ALEXANDRIA and PLOTINUS, DIONYSIOS MOUSSAFIRIS, a pseudonym of BRUNO LOEB, has been a scholar of Hellenistic Judaism in Alexandria Since 1958 he has been the choice portraitist of British and American expatriates in the Middle East as well as the illustrator of the ALEXANDRIA QUARTET, the LAWRENCE DURRELL tetralogy ("JUSTINE","BALTHAZAR", "MOUNTOLIVE" and "CLEA") and the STRATIS TSIRKAS, "KAVAFIS AND HIS DAYS". Always keeping implicit the actual image of Alexandria with its prostitutes, homosexuals, mendicants, fashionable society, poets and philosophers and the immortal one, that epitomized and divulged the wealth of knowledge, the wisdom, the pleasures of the entire Greek world that flourished on Egypt's Mediterranean shores. From 1965, and reaching a total of more than forty years, here are some paintings, sculptures, "mystery boxes" and pieces of furniture by Dionysios Moussafiris.
